Purpose of yourmomlied.com
Yourmomlied.com was created to tell young people the truth about life–because most mom’s lie to their kids
(Mom’s usually raise the kids in case you missed that)
.
.
.
If you somehow believe this is not an
Enormous
problem in American families, then you are a fucking moron
.
.
.
Yourmomlied.com is equally valuable to adults–because most of their mom’s lied to them too
.
.
.
Ok, What Lies Do Mom’s Tell Their Kids?
Santa Claus & the Easter Bunny are not the lies yourmomlied.com is talking about. Glance over to the top right side of this page under, “categories.” These are the lies we are talking about.
Why was yourmomlied.com Created?
Yourmomlied.com was created because my own mom, (and dad), lied to me about some of the most basic yet profound things in life. This created many problems for me–problems that were
100% Unnecessary
&
100% Avoidable
Every day I have grown older, I have fully understood that I am not unique or special—most parents simply lie to their kids.
How did you do your research for yourmomlied.com?
None of the topics on yourmomlied.com are bizarre facts—they are easily found with a simple Google search or a 20 minute trip to your local library. Although some topics are referenced, most of yourmomlied.com is simply common sense. And maybe that is why the topics on this site are that much more, (strangely), profound—because these facts are right in front of our face, but almost no one acknowledges them . . .
Weird
The reason for this darkness we call the United States is worthy of some serious thought and discussion—and that is exactly what yourmomlied.com does.
Why is yourmomlied.com important?
This site is important to prevent young people from experiencing the confusion, disillusionment, anger, & misery that myself and millions of others U.S. citizens have lived through as a result of being lied to by their mom, (and dad).
Suggestion to Adults Planning on Becoming Human Xerox Machines
Adults, planning on having kids, (or already have kids), should look at the topics on this site, (under categories on the top right). These adults should consider whether or not they are going to lie to/mislead their children, or tell them the truth about these presented topics & similar topics.
Who is the Target Audience?
Everyone is the target audience. However, my fear and life experience leads me to believe that adults having children already have their mind made up on whether or not they are going to lie to their kids. Most parents I have met really don’t care about the truth–and that’s pretty fucked up. Therefore, yourmomlied.com will probably be more beneficial to those who actually are questioning what is truth, & what is not truth—and that would generally be younger people.
How yourmomlied.com came in to being
This site came in to being due to shear frustration & bewilderment at the inability to have an honest conversation with most people. To this day, I cannot have an honest conversation with my own college educated mom & dad about any topic on this website. I cannot have an honest conversation with most people I meet concerning the topics on this website . . .
What the hell?
I remember growing in to a man & wondering why there was no resource for truth. Why were no authorities honestly talking about these enormously profound issues???
1. My parents? Nope
2. My church? Hell no
3. My teachers? Nope
4. Politicians? No
5. Police? No
6. My friends? Yes—one . . . (see acknowledgements at bottom)
7. Anybody else? Nope
At some point during all this frustration & yes anger, I determined that if no one else was going to honestly talk about this, someone needed to . . . and yourmomlied.com was finally born.
Because I believe truth is important, I have spent a great deal of time during my lifetime:
1. Talking to people from every walk of life about the topics presented on this site
2. Listening to people. I look them in the eyes & listen to them with respect. I have found the overwhelming response from U.S. citizens regarding these topics to be absolutely
Bizarre
People do NOT want to talk about these things and become remarkably uncomfortable when these topics are brought up.
More recently, I spent a number of years, (almost every weekend), on discussion boards on well meaning websites such as FACTnet.com & IndependentSpirits.com. I realized that many of these good people, with all due respect, were dismissing some enormous facts—really simple facts . . . facts covered here on yourmomlied.com.
I realized that people in general were dismissing some Ridiculously obvious facts. Without having this common ground of understanding, having
Any
type of meaningful discourse whether in person or online was pretty much
FUBAR
(Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition)
I concluded that there is a sickness which has infected most people in America:
1. Unbelievable Ego
2. Unbelievable Ignorance
3. Unbelievable Fear
4. Complete lack of shame of #1-#3
How Long Did yourmomlied.com take to put together?
A great deal of time, effort, & guts has been devoted to this site . . . going on one full year as of 12-27-08
What is the Ultimate goal of yourmomlied.com?
To create a revolution
A revolution of common sense
And that would be a revolution indeed
Acknowledgements:
Growing up, I had zero sources for truth. No one took me to the side and, “told me how it was.” My parents, church, & just about everyone else lied to me about the, “big,” things. I was lost in a sea of lost people, except for a library card and curiosity. (There was no such thing as the internet). Yet I knew something was very wrong. Through an unlikely series of events, I met an extraordinary 19 year old young man named Ron—we were the same age. This young man, a genuine researcher, brought more truth in to my pathetic life than anyone I had ever met, or anyone I have ever met since. As eccentric as he was, he presented me with honesty and facts of which I will always be in debt. (Look, I can deal with eccentric over lies any day of the week).
My big wig NASA employed father met Ron a couple of times and commented that he was, “weird.” Ron WAS weird—weird because he was honest when it wasn’t, “cool,” to be honest. . .
Some of Ron’s colleagues and friends have been frequent guests on the History Channel even today –20 years after we met. Ron’s family is also extraordinary. Ron has been on TV, and his research broke new ground that has been on TV and opened the door to many other researchers. Ron long ago withdrew from the spotlight and I believe that is the way he prefers for now & maybe forever. I understand. That is another story.
Ron introduced me to Monty Python’s, “The Life of Brian.” That is some funny shit if you have not seen it.
I have lost contact with Ron because he and his family moved far away up north when he and I were only 19—our friendship was brief.
Ron taught me it was OK to think about things we were not supposed to think about. I will never forget when he raised his hand in the air and explained how he observed life—he raised one hand in the air and explained that he got a more clear perspective of life as a whole by rising above it, rather than being immersed in it.
An extremely elementary concept . . . but a brilliant one
Something we can all learn from–we should stop, think, rise above all the things going on around us, and simply look down & think. I believe he was simply stating we can’t see the forest for the trees—it’s a simple concept we should all think about.
To the person that took the time to sit down with me & plainly tell me the truth when no one else would . . .
This website is dedicated to you Ron . . . my good friend
