2. Child Abuse

2. Child abuse

In case you hadn’t noticed, about half the kids walking around today are SERIOUSLY disturbed. (That’s a nice way of saying half of them are really fucked up).

Why?

If you don’t know why—then you are a MORON and you might try pulling your hands from your face and looking around. Why are half the kids in our wonderful country genuinely fucked up?

Drum Roll . . .

Because their mommy & daddy are genuinely fucked up and had no business reproducing—but they did anyway. (I know—I’m a genius. I should have been a rocket scientist).

Welcome to America!

And have a fantastic day!

The End

Throughout literally most of our recorded history, people have used children like dogs. Gosh, I wonder why people’s heads are all fucked up.
It was not until the 1960’s that every state in the U.S. had clear cut laws on child abuse. Even with clear laws in place, very little abuse is reported or legally stopped today. This is a disaster that is overwhelming to sit down and sincerely comprehend–therefore, people don’t. People truly do not sit down and think about this—they just get married and start popping out those babies.

It is overwhelming to comprehend that the family unit is inherently perpetuating child abuse, not stopping it. Yet, for cultural, religious, social, & traditional reasons, (& pressures), people keep getting married & popping out babies like nothing is wrong.

Like a bunch of sheep.

Now THIS IS messed up—this is your history America . . . hold your head high and read . . .

Here’s a snapshot of how the term, “child abuse,” was even recognized here in the good ole’ USA:

In 1874, in New York, there was a 10 year old little girl named Mary Ellen who was being treated worse than a dog. A lady working in the area observed that, indeed, this girl was being treated worse than a dog. Because there were few laws, and even fewer laws actually enforced on child neglect/abuse, this Good Samaritan sought the help of the SPCA—yes, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. “You are so troubled over that abused child, why not go to Mr. Bergh? She is a little animal surely” . . . is a quote from this incident describing little Mary Ellen.

She is a little animal surely,” . . . in other words they were hoping the SPCA would consider little Mary Ellen at least equal to a dog and help her—since no organization even existed in America that would help.

To be clear, because there were literally no organizations to protect kids, a handful of people, out of desperation, had to get the help of the SPCA to try and remove this little girl from a horrible situation.

The sufferings of this little girl, Mary Ellen, led to the founding of the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, the first organization of its kind, in 1874. In 1877, the New York SPCC and several Societies for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals from throughout the country joined together to form the American Humane Association.

So, what have we learned???

“Never think that a handful of committed people cannot change the world. In fact, it’s the only thing that ever has.” - Linda Ellerbee

Literally a few pissed off people with some balls are the only reason we even have organizations to protect children today. As mentioned, it was not until the 1960’s that every state in the U.S. had clear cut laws on child abuse. So, America, how are we doing on child abuse today??

Hmmm . . .

Let’s look at how far we have come on stopping JUST sexual abuse of children.

Today in the land of the Red, White, & Blue:

1. 1 out of 4 girls in America are sexually abused by the age of 18—usually by their own family

2. 1 out of 8 boys in America are sexually abused by the age of 18—yes, often by their own family or friends of the family

That’s just sexual abuse—not physical abuse, or emotional/psychological abuse, or neglect, etc., which I am not even going to get in to. I hope you are starting to get the point.

Question 1

In 1874, how come the rest of America did nothing to stop this insanity? Did people simply not understand this abuse was occurring?

Answer:

People could not see because their hands were covering their face. Of course people knew it was occurring.

Question 2

Today, how can we continue to watch our children abused by their own families like clock-work as carried out through institutions we have accepted over time without question–institutions otherwise known as families?

Answer:

People cannot see because their hands are covering their face. Their face is covered with their own . . .

Ego

Ignorance

Fear

Lack of Shame

For the love of God I hope you are getting the picture—the family unit is a nightmare & failure by ANY standards

But for some reason, no one ever talks about this.

I guess we’re not supposed to talk about this.

Fuck that

Nap time is over . . .

Wake up America!
